My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant specializing in mussel-based dishes. The atmosphere was very informal, we were the only customers in the room, which made the experience calm and relaxed. The waiters, two young guys, were really kind and friendly. We appreciated the quality of the food: I had a starter of sweet and sour sardines and a second course of seared tuna with a pistachio crust. My partner, being gluten intolerant, was able to choose from a separate AIC certified menu and ate a plate of clams and one of gluten-free spaghetti with prawns and pistachios. We also shared a caponata as a side dish. Everything was very good. The prices were adequate for the quality of the food and service (74 euros). I would recommend La Cozzeria for family lunches or dinners, as a couple, and also for tourists who are in the area.

A nice discovery, good food and a great location, all the gluten-free products are also delicious, a special note in favor of the waiters, simple and genuine guys, well done, keep going like this

The restaurant is located on the small port of Castellamare del Golfo, and the location with the view of the castle is quite suggestive, but unfortunately it is only this or little more... We chose this place as it is an AIC place, I ordered a portion of baked potatoes (really skimpy with 7 potatoes counted) and a spaghetti with tomato which in addition to being gluten-free was without art or part... Overall quality/price ratio is normal (but for the location and nothing else, and paying 7 potatoes for 6 euros honestly seems a bit pricey to me)
