La Gourmandine Downtown

Awesome find! Loved this bakery and the sweet gal working there. Picked up the largest gluten free fruit filled macarons I’ve ever seen. Delicious! Also enjoyed a yummy croissant and the best lemon tart I’ve ever had. You must go!

Discovered this gem while I was in Pittsburgh for work. I will most definitely be back. They had one gluten-free item and it was *devine*. It was a (larger than normal) macaron filled with raspberries and cream. I cannot wait to go back! I also ordered a simple brewed black coffee. I tend to judge coffee shops by the quality (or lack of) their brewed coffee. La Gourmandine did not disappoint. It was fresh (at about 1:00pm), strong, and not bitter. 10/10.
