We had a wonderful evening at La Lampada for our last night in this beautiful city. Angelo, our waiter, was brilliant company and we spent a long time chatting about sport (Middlesbrough football club in particular) as well as the joys of being a redhead! The food was spectacular, and generous with the gluten free options being plentiful and sublime.
Highly recommend the artichokes, the pasta, and the Chianti!

We really like this place. Very low-key, local neighborhood place. The staff is friendly and hard-working, and in half a dozen visits I've never had a bad meal. I'll note my wife has celiac and they take extra pains to tell her what they can make (most of the menu) and what they can't (usually desserts).
