La Locanda del mare

Nice restaurant in a great location, friendly staff. The positives end here. Exaggerated prices and dubious quality with small portions. I had spaghetti with clams: €23 with dry clams (not real ones), without a bit of cream from the cooking water... totally tasteless. The pasta, strange, seemed almost overcooked. My wife took a second course of prawns which looked like an appetizer (6 prawns whose size looked like prawns). With us there was a celiac friend who had spaghetti with clams but when it was brought to the table it was not declared that it was the gluten-free dish so I was about to eat it myself... which was harmless for me but very serious for the friend who would have become intoxicated. Given all this, we avoided dessert and coffee.

Fabulous restaurant by the sea! I have celiac disease and I found the staff very knowledgeable about gluten free dishes. I ate the fried fish made with rice flour and cooked without contamination, SPECTACULAR! At the end of the meal the Barman served us some truly fantastic cocktails! Truly recommended!
