The venue was very nice, up market enough without being over the top, nice booth table for the two of us. We had the pre-theatre set menu, choice of two out of five starters and one out of two mains to share with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink for $100 for the two of us. We chose the zucchini fritto and the quail for starters, both were excellent though small, more an appetiser. The dissapointment was the main, only two choices, cauliflower or linguine. We chose the linguine, though as my wife is Coeliac this was substituted with packet penne. Very little crab in it and small for two people, could easily have eaten it on my own.
The highlight of the night was the service, excellent, especially from the French guy who seemed to be running the floor. Sorry I have forgotten you name, but you made the night enjoyable and counteracted any other concerns.
I would come again, but would try the a la carte menu and wouldn't have the pre-theatre offering again.
