A good taste of pasta and risotto seafood I liked the idea that they have a gluten free pasta and they have as well in house Gluten free bread taste was very good, only big disappointment was that they made us pay for the bread!, the normal bread basket and the Gluten free bread, almost 45 AED for bread only! Staff was very professional and kind, and the reception ladies were as well super cooperative, I believe it is too much overpriced

A horrible experience would be an understatement. My friend and I had lunch there, we were seated somewhere right next to other people even though the restaurant was EMPTY, that was unpleasant, but fine. As we are ordering, the waiter was an extremely condescending man, who proceeded to explain to us what veal bacon and a marinara pizza is (which was also terrible by any other restaurant's standards, but edible according to my friend) I usually would have laughed and said thank you, but the way in which this man was speaking to us was despicable, it was not friendly or educational. I ordered the gluten free pasta (i have been gluten free for 10 years now, and am extremely accustomed to sub par gluten free noodle) the pasta was genuinely not edible. It tasted like sweet and low and liquid smoke. When i asked the waiter to remove the pasta since i literally ate one single pasta, he proceeded to tell me that this is what pasta arrabiata is, that perhaps i was not aware of that. I was in shcok and how some could be so rude to a customer who was paying 135 for pasta and tomato sauce. My friend had one pasta as well, to corroborate my opinion, and to make sure i was not crazy; to my shock, the pasta was still on the bill. No body came to speak to me as to why their pasta was gag worthy (it literally made us both gag). I asked the waiter to please remove the pasta from the bill (that he took away, by the way, so it was not even on the table, but he still insisted on charging us for it) he told me he could not do that, since it was their policy. What a true joke, I laughed, and told him respectfully, that i would not be paying for it because i did not eat it, and it was taken away. They finally removed it. While we were paying, we split the bill, and just wanted to add a tip to the waiter, even though god knows he did not deserve it, he proceeded to rush us, and shove the credit card machine in our face repeating the amount we were meant to pay, not even letting us give him an un-deserved tip. He barely uttered the word thank you and turned his back to us. Horrendous horrendous horrendous experience, furthermore, a friend of mine saw a live worm in their tart a few months ago, and I did not know that this was the same restaurant. I would not have went had i connected the dots earlier. A true catastrophe of a restaurant amidst a city whose restaurant and food scene is blossoming. La Maison Ani is a joke on every level. for anybody reading this, please save your hard earned dirhams in these inflated times, and go anywhere else. Finally, to anyone responding to these reviews, keep your automated, insincere response to yourself, this is just a warning for anyone thinking of going to your restaurant.
