Small, charming, old-school pizzeria. Friendly staff that greeted us when we entered.
This small pizzeria was such a pleasure to see and dine at, a throwback to independent dining facilities before franchises took over! Charming and cozy.
It was nice to see a small selection of wine and beer options available to select from with your meal. Vegetarian options, as well as gluten-free options were available. We ordered a Vegetarian pizza pie. This is the only restaurant I have ever eaten at, in several countries, that put carrots and zucchini on a pizza! But too crunchy, but the vegetable option was good. That was a nice surprise, to me.
There is plenty of space for just grabbing a bite or joining others for a gathering. They have a cozy seating area with booths and tables in their addition.
Restrooms were clean - however, we were there early in the day, so unsure how they are cared for by the later hours.
Conveniently located off the hwy and nestled next to a gas station, it's easily accessible- even if you aren't a local. Those were a plus.
