La Marjolaine is truly one of a kind — a family-owned and operated café-restaurant that is entirely gluten-free and sugar-free, yet never compromises on flavor, beauty, or care.
We recently tried the new menu addition: the bagel with smoked salmon, avocado, and free-range egg — and it was both delicious and gorgeous (as the photos show!). The texture was satisfying, the ingredients vibrant and fresh, and every bite felt both indulgent and nourishing.
My husband had the shakshuka, a staple here — always warm, flavorful, and deeply comforting. We paired it with a silky mocha and a refreshing beet–orange juice, both of which struck the perfect balance between healthful and satisfying.
To finish, we shared a cookie — subtly sweet, perfectly textured, and made in-house like everything else.
The heart of La Marjolaine lies in its owner — an extremely passionate person who delivers expertly homemade, high-quality, well-thought-out recipes that are not only gluten-free and sugar-free but truly healthy. You can feel the care and integrity in every bite.
The owner has such deep knowledge, skill, and genuine passion for nutrition and true wellness, which makes La Marjolaine a treasure. It’s a privilege to have this restaurant in Rabat — something to cherish and take full advantage of.
And what’s most remarkable: the quality never drops. If anything, it keeps improving. The owner is always present — greeting customers personally, overseeing every detail, and making sure each dish is perfect. That level of consistency, presence, and dedication is rare.
For those of us who are serious about our health but still want to enjoy comfort food, La Marjolaine is the only place where we can eat freely and joyfully, without second-guessing a single ingredient.
Thank you, La Marjolaine. You are a gift. 💛
