We were welcomed by Julien at the 25/70/90 gluten-intolerant meeting organized by Katja. A country bakery, La Modestine grows, processes, manufactures, and sells its products (peasant, organic, and local bread). In addition, the owners have set up a separate workshop to make gluten-free breads, flours, and beers. We ate, but didn't taste, delicious homemade gluten-free pizzas (thanks, Julien). The gluten-free breads are fabulous and highly recommended for all celiacs.
