An absolute gem. We came here as they had galettes on the menu. I asked if they were gluten free (my son is coeliac) and when the hostess confirmed they were we got the last table. Service was slightly leisurely but it's a French restaurant in a small town run by a husband and wife team - so entirely excusable. After we had ordered we were brought a little plate of crisps which the hostess told us, without being asked, were GF. The galettes were incredible. For dessert she offered (unprompted) to make any of the crepes on the menu using buckwheat flour to make them GF - very kind. My wife and I had crepes (excellent) and my son had an outstanding creme brulee,. His apples juice was also excellent, as was our win. A wonderful mean and evening,. We are going to see if we can somehow make it back.
