Great hip place. Food was excellent. They were very accommodating with gluten free options.

We had a fantastic experience on a Tuesday night at La Planque! Everything from the meal to the ambience was excellent. All of the service staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our server Edouard was a true gem. Very considerate and attentive. My wife is celiac and we were fortunate enough to be able to try the blind tasting menu. What a deal!! Amazing value and the food was delicious! We started with a half dozen oysters too (not included in the tasting menu) which were accompanied by two of their homemade sauces (chili lime and a vinaigrette) oysters were very fresh and flavourful and the sauces were wonderfully balanced and tasty. The tasting menu was just as good but I won’t ruin the surprise! There was also a great wine selection of which we enjoyed a couple glasses of the orange wine from local wine maker Genevieve Thisdel - superbe! Would recommend La Planque to anyone visiting Quebec City!
