We stumbled on this wonderful and somewhat quirkily decorated restaurant for a very late lunch after a day spent walking many k. Exceptional service from our very kind and appropriately attentive young waiter, who very carefully inquired about my gluten sensitivity, and delicious food.

It didn't convince me. We decided to go after the good reviews and because whenever we travel to Italy we like to try a typical sausage place, but from my point of view, it is an overrated place. The first day we went, we had to leave after standing waiting for half an hour for the guy to serve us at the bar (since we ask there). There were only two workers and they were both preparing a large order. I understand that they are busy, but just raising your head to take a note doesn't cost that much, especially when the client has been in front of you for a long time. The next day we returned, there were two different workers, somewhat more attentive but not conspicuous by their friendliness either. We ordered a small board of cold cuts for two and I can only say that it was normal, nothing like other salumerías that I have visited in Italy. Also, I didn't like that they presented the sausages directly on the wooden board, without putting some type of base paper. On the other hand, I didn't see the place in general as very clean either. I asked for gluten free bread and was told they didn't take cross contamination into account. I appreciate that you informed me, but if you don't take it into account, I see it as absurd that they offer gluten-free options, a celiac patient wouldn't be able to eat there. They have an extensive wine list. I wouldn't go back honestly.
