La Strada Restaurant

Had the prawn and chorizo. Dish was under seasoned. Pasta was precooked and not seasoned. Why pre-cook pasta, it won't absorb the sauce when added to sauce. Same as other views, it was a very oily dish not olive oil either or oil from chorizo as the chorizo wasn't cooked. It was vegetable oil. Dish was advertised as tiger prawns, we did not receive tiger prawns. Powdered parmesan. My wife had prawns and garlic with gluten free pasta which was apparently cooked fresh, it was mush. Dish was so bland. I would not recommend this place. Food is really bad, waitress showed very limit knowledge of food. The only thing positive was the prices. Portions were big, I don't see that as a positive, prefer quality.

I love the relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant. The food is always fresh and one can easily take home any leftovers without quibble. It`s family friendly with options for even little fussy eaters. Gluten free options are available. The Cajun chicken or salmon I highly recommend. I`ve held many family birthdays here and will do again!
