La Vela Pizzeria

There is something special about wood fire pizza. This little place has been open for 2 and a half years. It is family owned and operated. The chef has many years of experience. The menu has something for everyone including gluten free pizza crust, gluten free penne and gnocchi. They also offer vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni. I tried the Hawaiian pizza on gluten free crust. It is made in house with a mix of maize and rice flour. I was cautioned about cross contamination because it is cooked in a common oven but I had no issues. Generous toppings with a drizzle of balsamic and a coconut lime margarita to go with it. My server was just lovely. He answered every one of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Definitely will try the gnocchi next time.

Every experience is incredible at La Vela. Really great gluten free pizza dough + pasta. Service is also amazing.

Best gluten free crust ever! The regular crust is also amazing but the tomato sauce on both is the star. So fresh tasting. Ample toppings and yummy in every way.
