I don’t know how it happened, but somehow it’s been 10 years since the last time I was at La Viena! This was my first time at their “new” location (since 2014!) and they have made such great use of the space. Lots of tables, but even in the midst of dinner we felt like we had lots of privacy; tables weren’t packed in elbow-to-elbow. The food was, still, amazing. We had the spaghetti con polpette, penne all a pollo and the vitelle carlo porta. My husband and mom loved their pasta. I didn’t specifically ask for a gluten friendly menu. I am not celiac, I’m intolerant to gluten, and I found the veal (vitelle) dish was delicious, and no reaction that I could tell. However, I always recommend asking. The staff was super friendly, and just added to the atmosphere there.
We’re definitely adding this to our rotation for dinners out!
