Lakeside Tavern & Brewery

Had a great time this past weekend in Detroit Lakes and decided to walk down the street to eat at Lakeside. Great atmosphere, service and food. Was very impressed with the service considering how busy it was. They were also very accommodating to a gluten allergy we had in our group. Will definitely visit again when in town!

The food and service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had a bowl of wild rice soup, and it was delicious. Best aspect of the soup was the nice chunks of chicken. My wife had a grilled turkey sandwich with chips. She enjoyed her sandwich, and said it was delicious. She even liked the gluten free bun. This restaurant has a unique approach to seating. There is no host, and people wanting a table must wait around the building watching for a table to open up. This felt super awkward to us, and as my wife said, was an introverts nightmare. Not a deal breaker, but just be aware of it.
