Land Run Grill

My grandma, mother and I were looking for a restaurant with gluten free options for a late lunch. This place was on the list, and my mom and I had never been. We asked if they had a separate menu for gluten free options, and they told us they only offered a gluten free bun. After talking with the waitress about their processes in the kitchen, I was less than enthusiastic about my options. Our waitress told us that they don't use pans/skillets to cook things, they toast buns on the same flat top grill they cook everything on. She spoke with a manager to make sure her info was correct. I decided on a Cobb salad and took a chance with the turkey breast, and our waitress told us she tried to make sure it was handled appropriately, to whatever extent. My mom and grandma ordered their all-you-can-eat catfish and weren't entirely satisfied with their meals. They liked the catfish, but their fries looked awful, the "hush puppies" were doughy and undercooked, and my grandma wasn't a fan of their coleslaw.

I had a burger with a gluten free bun. It's was SO GOOD! I wish they had a fries🍟 only fryer so I could have had fries too, but the burger was a treat!
