Lat14 Asian Eatery

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely patio. It's right by a highway but you wouldn't know it most of the time! Our server was great- very knowledgeable about the gluten-free//Celiac considerations for the restaurant. First glance of the menu it does look like there are many gluten-free options, but when you take away those that are prepared in a shared fryer and wok, there was one option in the appetizers and three entree options. Now that being said- the Nam Khao appetizer was delicious and the red curry (with walleye for gluten folks, with another protein for gluten-free folks) was fantastic. Would recommend both highly. The cocktails we ordered were also very drinkable. Would overall recommend Lat14 for GF with understanding of some limited (but tasty) options.

When the chef makes the worst menu change they could ever make. I absolutely looooooved the red snapper. Every birthday, anniversary, and just becauses, that red snapper was my happy place. I go only for that menu item. Only to be told today that the fish is not only now fileted but also drenched in dairy and gluten, two things that I cannot eat. Le sigh. It was lovely knowing you Lat14. I'm sooo disappointed 😞

Can we say food coma!? I was excited about this food adventure, and it did not disappoint . There were a lot of new flavors tried from the Lat14 Tonic to the Red Curry. Everything was a joy to taste even the dishes that weren't my fav could be appreciated. The creme brulee and Tourn desserts were killer. So now I'm off to the couch to digest it all. Eat here if you haven't!!! Plus the waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu and suggestions and this place is great for my gluten free friends. Tons of choices
