Everything was clearly labeled vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free, as appropriate, and everything was delicious (OK, I wasn't into the pickled veggies, but the pickled cucumbers had a singular flavor — cardamon, at least, I think — and that's on me and my preferences). The spicy black bean hummus was awesome. The staff were polite, pleasant, patient, and helpful!

Food is tasty but the portions are kind of a joke for the price. $16 for a falafel plate made me miss the $8 ones at my bodega in Brooklyn Edit - after the restaurant responded that’s a cop out from them. It’s a nice spot but I wouldn’t call it a dining experience. You could have one less person working behind the counter where it looked like you had a dozen people and make falafels that are regular sized and enough so that I didn’t have to go buy more food after. The meal is listed as gluten free but comes with a pita, not gluten free. I asked if I could sub it for something else that was gluten free and got turned down or told I could buy fries for $6. People should be able to be full for $20 these days. Falafel shouldn’t be a premium gluten free item it’s naturally gluten free when made properly with chickpea flour. If you want an experience and bomb food go see my guy Carlos at the corner of Graham and Scholes in Williamsburg you could be crushed by the plate he serves you and it’s better than this spot that claims to be a level above. Downgrading to 3.
