Lay Low Cafe

We had an amazing brunch at Lay Low. The food was super tasty, service was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We had the egg white omelet and the Nest. Flavours were well balanced, portions were the perfect size. My husband has celiac, the staff was well versed in what he could and couldn’t have. We will definitely be back.

It’s a beautifully decorated space with green couches and high ceilings. There’s also a fun disco ball at the front door. We’ve been here a few times and have tried different items on their menu (which changes seasonally) and the food is pretty good. Really enjoy their maple bacon and home fries. The prices are a bit higher (ex. $8 for a glass of orange juice) and there’s no reservation so you do have to wait in line if it’s busy (we’ve had pretty good luck with short wait times). They also are quite good with dietary accommodations (gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free, etc). It’s a good brunch place to treat yourself out to.
