This was a super fun place to go out for dinner. In keeping with the theme, they offer an outdoor pooch patio where owners can bring their dogs to dine with them and they even have a menu for dogs that you can order from.
We went on a very busy Friday night so took a while to be seated, which is only a sign of a good restaurant. I ordered the Fried Chicken Dinner which was delicious and everything Fried Chicken should be. My daughter is Gluten Free so we were pleased about the Gluten Free Menu, she ordered the Hamburger and was a little disappointed. It took a long time to get our meal and it appears that may have been a result of ordering Gluten Free or just a very busy Friday night.
For dessert I ordered the Butter Cake with Strawberry Compote and Vanilla Ice Cream. This dessert is a must! You can't go without ordering this dessert. Our waitress, Danielle was wonderful and without asking compensated us for the issue with the gluten free meal. The rest of the staff was just as kind and attentive.
So why am I posting 5 stars when something went wrong? Because we are all human and sometimes things go wrong but without us having to even ask, the waitress appropriately took care of us. We will definitely go back. Great Value for the dollar and they support Habitat for Humanity, I love that they are socially responsible and give back to the community.
Last, you have to order their TV Dinners. Such a cute idea and a great way to take a meal to a neighbor or friend.
