This is a fun little place across from The Mayflower Hotel, of infamous fame. It is a mix of Japanese and French food. The chef has some very inventive sushi. The most savory for this fall is miso paste with warm Camembert cheese on top, a slab of it, that melts in your mouth and feels like fall leaves, a fireplace, and home all at once. The salmon filet was very fresh but slightly over done when medium rare was asked for but tasted delightful. Cocktails are inventive as well and the wine selection was very good. Service was attentive but when full, the dining room was loud so try to pick an off time if that is important. Gluten free was clearly marked and they have GF soy sauce if you ask for it. Overall, a lovely experience and easy parking with two garages surrounding the restaurant and on street parking as well!
