Dairy free and gluten free waffles with berries that tastes great!

If you are passing through Mons, Le Paysan is the ideal place to enjoy delicious crepes and waffles, whether they are waffles from Liège, Brussels, or the local specialty: the Mons waffle. We chose the crispy Brussels waffle, as well as the very soft Mons waffle. In terms of toppings, the homemade sauces are worth the detour: we tested the vanilla & macadamia praline (killer) as well as the pistachio praline, just as successful. The quantities are generous and the waffles/crepes are also artisanal. In terms of drinks, there are several types of Latte (Matcha, Pumpkin, etc.), perfect for winter. We validate the Pumpkin Lover, very comforting. Furthermore, in order to make desserts accessible to as many people as possible, the Tavern offers options for people with gluten or lactose intolerance, which is a big plus! The team is young, smiling and responsive... in short, a warm place to try with family or friends.
