Le Pointu

Came for brunch. The service is excellent, the waitresses are very friendly. That's what really boosts the bill and the experience. Nice terrace. It's a shame, given its proximity to the Riponne area, that several people were on drugs, one of whom stopped to ask us for money. But the restaurant can't help that. As for the menu, it's not very extensive. That could be a good sign if the dishes were incredible. They're just okay. Nothing outstanding (we came because it's listed among the best brunches). The eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked. But the dressing was almost nonexistent in the simple green salad that came with it, and there were 3-4 small pieces of asparagus on the plate... Poor seasoning. Zucchini toast, too. It's a shame they don't offer gluten-free pancakes for this place that aims to be trendy and contemporary. By the way, I paid an extra 2.- for three small gluten-free toasts, which clearly weren't homemade... 27.- for Eggs Benedict. Too expensive. The gingerbread was bland and had very little ginger flavor... 6.50. It's okay, but unfortunately the value for money isn't good enough...

The toasts are very good. But in the gluten-free version the portion is too small. 3 slices of gluten-free sandwich bread while we pay 2.5.- more compared to the size of normal toast, it's really light.
