Lee and Me

Location: Centrally positioned near public transport and in the heart of Woollongong. Street parking available in nearby streets. Food: Good, reasonable variety. Got 2 poached eggs on a small bit of gluten free toast, they barely fit on there (it's not a decent piece of sourdough, so seemingly should be served up differently - the way they do in other places). Interior: Gorgeously warm vibe, like hipster vintage meets countryside. Plenty of room for larger groups. Exterior: Great indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for those with prams, dogs etc. Only key personal concern is the bathroom, which is located up a steep set of narrow stairs. On this basis I wouldn't recommend people I know, go there, they've decided not to cater to them (old, with injuries, disabled), as far as I'm aware.

We were actually heading towards another cafe that was too busy and instead came across a lucky empty table at Lee & Me. Our super friendly waitress greeted us, seated us and took our order straight away, and the food came out not long after. Both my sister and I are gluten free and they had zero problems with adapting. The eggs bene were DIVINE. And no judgement passed when we ordered a breakfast cider (apple is good for you, right?!). Will definitely come back here when back down.
