Leen's Yas Mall

Had a lovely breakfast at Leens. It’s great they cater for gluten and dairy intolerances. Thanks to Joseph for looking after us.

I went to Leen’s with my son, and I was impressed with how knowledgeable the staff are about gluten-free options. We ordered the gluten-free pesto pasta, which tasted amazing—my son really enjoyed it! They even made sushi for him, as he requested, with just cucumber, and he loved it. The staff also offered us gluten-free soy sauce, which was a thoughtful touch. On our last visit, they even offered to bake French fries specially for him so they would be safe for him to eat, which we really appreciated. What I really appreciated was that every dish on the menu is clearly labeled with allergy information. I’ll definitely be visiting Leen’s again to try more dishes. Keep up the great work!

We have been dining at this restaurant in Yas Mall on a weekly basis since it opened. The team has always treated us exceptionally well, accommodating our gluten and dairy allergies with kindness and understanding. Unfortunately, today, all those years of positive experiences were overshadowed by a disappointing change in service and menu flexibility. The restaurant recently updated its menu and refused to serve our regular dish—something as simple as grilled steak and sautéed shrimp. After 45 minutes of deliberation, the chef reluctantly agreed to make it but warned that this would be the last time. Additionally, they removed the gluten-free pasta from the menu, leaving even fewer options for those with dietary restrictions. To make matters worse, we waited for over an hour just to be served a basic steak and shrimp dish. This level of service and disregard for loyal customers is incredibly frustrating. A restaurant that once prided itself on inclusivity and great hospitality has now made it clear that accommodating dietary needs is an inconvenience. It's disappointing to see such a drastic shift in attitude. We truly hope they reconsider how they handle their loyal customers, especially those with dietary restrictions.
