Legal Sea Foods - Burlington Mall

Burlington Mall's Legal Sea Foods is located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, Massachusetts 01803. In every aspect, Legal Sea Foods at Burlington Mall surpassed my expectations. The spotless, airy, and stylish ambiance set the stage for an incredible meal as soon as we entered. To make us feel cared for and welcomed, the staff went above and beyond. Eating out can frequently be stressful for someone with celiac disease, but this was not the case here. The fact that practically the whole menu had gluten-free options truly delighted me. Such a wide selection is uncommon, and the level of care taken to accommodate dietary requirements was unmatched. A considerate and comforting touch were the gluten-free rolls, which were brought out by a different waiter to prevent cross-contamination. The waitress who waited on us was simply wonderful. Extremely kind, informed, and went above and beyond by suggesting a favorite dish. When my friends adopted their recommendation, he was ecstatic! It's encouraging to see that the employees actually care about the experiences of their visitors. Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, the food was amazing. The feeling of being able to savor a meal without worrying about gluten contamination is difficult to describe. I felt "normal" eating out for the first time in a long time. I would go here every day if I could, so my only wish is that it were closer to home! We appreciate Legal Sea Foods for reviving the joy of dining out and setting the bar for outstanding service. Amazing all around. Clean, bright, and hip atmosphere. I could have cried when almost everything on the menu had a gluten-free option, as I have celiac. The waitress was amazing and suggested her favorite dish which my mom LOVED. All my gluten free food, rolls included were brought our by a different waiter to ensure it's gluten free. I wish this location was closer to home because I'd be back everyday. Thank you legal seafood for making me feel normal again with dining out.

The Burlington location is typical of Legal these days: pleasant enough, but undergoing lots of changes in terms of the menu and the foos itself. The prices are higher, there are more non-fish entrees on the menu, and the fish dishes just aren’t as great as they once were. Legal used to mostly be about great fish that’s simply cooked. Now… they seem to be offering more “composed” dishes, larger sides, and less emphasis on quality fish. Despite this, we visit regularly because the food is “good” and they remain attentive to gluten free guests (allergy orders used to be delivered by a manager, but at least when we went this seemed to no longer be happening).
