Legume Cafe & Bakery

I really ate the most delicious bagel I have ever eaten, made with chickpea flour. It was a crispy Tap fresh bagel. There are smiling and attentive employees. It is a cafe under the stairs, so it does not attract much attention when passing by on the road, but it is definitely worth a visit for a gluten-free and healthy food experience.

We went at around 10:00 on the weekend, although everything should be fresh, as you know, there are posts on Instagram about fresh out of the oven 😂 so many. 4 bagels, 4 different types of pastries, all of them were so hard, stale and cold that I have difficulty in expressing them. I think comparing it like a stone would be enough. They were all very tasteless. As a celiac patient, I have to eat completely gluten-free. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the worst gluten-free products I have ever eaten were here. The glasses were dirty, the tea was ice cold. We were the only table, even though it was a very boutique place, the service and cleanliness were disappointing. The people serving had a very unprofessional and even disrespectful approach. The gentleman standing at the cash register was very polite and friendly. We thank him. The whole experience was disappointing from start to finish. We would like to thank them for reminding us once again that the facts have nothing to do with the Instagram page.

Today, when I went around 11 o'clock, I bought a pastry with cheese and dill. However, they were definitely not fresh. I was really surprised. It's surprising that they sell leftover products in such a boutique place when you can find gluten-free products in such limited quantities. I'm not exaggerating at all. I thought my teeth were going to break when I bit them. What I ate passed with water down my throat. It was such a hard product that I ate gluten-free pastry in other places, by the way, I don't want to name it, it was amazing. I am aware that gluten-free products have a different consistency and taste than others, but the fact that it is hard as a rock cannot be explained in any other way other than it being a stale product. It was a very bad experience, I am very sorry.
