Best Ethiopian Restaurant in the Bay Area hands down!!! Fresh ingredients, Great food, wonderful service and I love the decor! If you are a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free like me you wouldn’t be disappointed if you choose this authentic Ethiopian restaurant! The friendly owner makes it more inviting and comfortable! I don’t live in the Bay Area but every time I go back the food is consistently delicious.The place is great for all people, couple, friends, families, officemates. It's just so great you got try it.

Lemat is so good! As a neighborhood regular, I have been there countless times and it's super consistent. The injera is gluten free as it should be, and the owner is SUPER nice :) They also have great ambiance. You can tell they went the extra mile to take care of those little details that really make for an enjoyable dining experience. They even have a live band on some Saturday nights. Parking is solid too and it's walkable from Ashby Bart. Try it out! You won't regret it.
