Lemon Slice Cafe

Today my boyfriend and I visited Lemon Slice Cafe, and I can't recommend it enough. We ordered some super flavorful sandwiches and refreshing and healthy freshly-made ginger lemonades. I'm gluten free, so I was very pleased to learn they had gluten free bread. The owner was concerned that the gluten free bread was smaller than their normal bread, so she offered us home fries on the house (they were delicious). She was so warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be returning again.

When in Silver Spring for Filmapalooza, I found Lemon Slice the first morning. And they had gluten-free bread which made a wonderful breakfast sandwich! Beth mentioned that she had made a gluten-free pastry by mistake for a photo shoot, did I want to try it. Of course! She brought out this spectacular show stopper and I had a bite after finishing my delicious breakfast sandwich. It was yummy with brown sugar and chili notes. Beth was so pleased that I liked it, she gave me the whole thing! I brought it back to the delighted Filmapalooza volunteers. I’ll be back at Lemon Slice today!
