Subi and team offer many gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options & options for all patrons. I’m coeliac so really appreciate the effort they put in! Delicious food and coffee…my regular when I’m in Wollongong!

Visiting from Sydney and came to this cafe due to the very good reviews, and I was unfortunately incredibly disappointed as the value for we actually got was really underwhelming and overpriced. We felt like we had walked into a tourist trap. This cafe is incredibly overpriced. I have been to some of the best cafes in Bondi, Manly, etc. and I have never paid $77 for two breakfasts and coffee. Many of the prices on the menu didn't even match what was on the receipt. The "extras" were incredibly underwhelming. $5.50 for one small potato rosti? Other cafes give you two. $6.00??!! for a small tub of avocado? (the menu said it was less) Most concerning was the extra $4.95 for gluten free bread... and I mean, that cheap white gluten free bread you can buy from Coles or Woolworths. Not home made or gourmet "wholefood" quality that this cafe suggests it offers. Essentially, we felt incredibly ripped off. We would have stayed silent if the food was really good, but the serving size was small and the quality was just okay. Nothing special that I haven't had elsewhere.. Coffee was just okay. Staff seemed unhappy and not really welcoming either. No table service either which was concerning at that price. Won't be visiting this cafe ever again. Unfortunately I didn't feel anything "wholefoods" about this cafe as they suggested. Really disappointed. Don't believe me? Look at the receipt attached.
