To begin, I called them in advance to ensure that the venue would be kid-friendly, considering I have a newborn and a toddler. They reassured me on the phone that they were indeed “kid-friendly”. I am not sure what interpretation they meant, in my perception they are absolutely not and I would avoid this venue if you have kids. Upon entry, we are greeted by a giant bar and bartender serving booze which was not communicated. It is not off to the side or discreet. When seated, we are placed in a booth that doesn’t even fit our newborn seat. The waitress saw me struggling to fit baby and did not offer an alternative place with pull out chairs. Waitress did not bring out napkins or cutlery. Waitress did not ask if my daughter needed a booster seat or high chair. We asked about a kids menu and they said they didn’t have a physical copy, so told me the options verbally, which takes the fun out of my daughter selecting things on her own. No crayons, colouring sheets or menu. Proceeds to bring her apple juice in an uncovered glass cup which she almost immediately spilled all over the table that trickled down to the newborn since she didn’t even give us any napkins. Where are the covered cups with lids for kids and straws? Told me she couldn’t have orange juice because it wasn’t part of the kids deal. Then, brings my daughter’s food in a giant plate with high edges and a spoon for spaghetti. I can barely eat spaghetti with a spoon, the fact our waitress expected a four year old to do that is laughable. Another guy brought out the rest of our food and he was really kind, I said, “my toddler cannot eat this with a spoon” so I had to request our cutlery for ourselves and a fork for her plus napkins. None of this experience felt kid-friendly. Honestly, we left feeling bad and like bringing kids was a total inconvenience to this venue, which was what we wanted to avoid while enjoying dinner. Could have gone to BP’s if we were told this place does not provide family service. Gluten-free crust was dry and crunchy, solid 3/10. Marios offers a little treat and BPs has a treasure box, this place nothing, not even a cookie. The experience left me feeling bad for my children so we will not return unless these issues are addressed.

Exceptional service - thanks Chris! Very efficient, food arrived quickly, despite being lunch rush. Fresh food, fresh ingredients and great taste. Very accommodating for dietary restrictions – celiac (gluten-free). LOVE the truffle mushroom pizza, added pepperoni (all meats are gluten-free except for the vegetarian chorizo).

Picked up lunch today for a co worker and myself. I am celiac and was worried about cross contamination. The restaurant was very good about explaining what is and isn’t gluten friendly. The food was 10/10. The house salad dressing is sooo good! I picked up the order and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and ensuring I was taken care of.
