Light Years - Noosa

Our favourite, never disappoints restaurant in Noosa! Service is always fantastic and particular care is always taken with me being a Coeliac. The food is bang on for flavour and the cocktails are sublime. Can’t wait til next year now ….. please open one in Melbourne 🙃

One of the best restaurants in Noosa! The food and service are impeccable and the manager went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements (vego and coeliac). I recommend the miso corn and cumin spiced cauliflower. Great value for money asian-fusion style dishes and delicious cocktails. Will have to try the chef’s selection next time as it’s such good value for money!! Will defo be back thank you so much :)

4 of us had dinner. We ordered gluten free as 2 of us are coeliac. We ordered the banquet for 4 people and spoke to the lovely waitress regarding coeliac options. We were assured this was not an issue and that the kitchen would alter a couple of items of the banquet to accommodate the coeliac component. We have had dinner at several other restaurants during our visit to Noosa and found brilliant options for the same situation and were very pleased with the outcome. This time however, when the replacement option was served, it was extremely disappointing as the portions were tiny and looked as though it was a hassle and no thought at all had gone into the dishes,(they gave us 2 cauliflower mains). Just under $400.00 later, it was the most diabolical experience we had during our stay. Worse still, when I was asked by the manager about how was the food etc, I responded as I have above- respectfully and discreetly, his response was “oh that’s no good.. That’s $375.00 thx”. Not much care given, no discount or notifying owners etc.
