Restaurant experience can improve for vegan options. Also insufficient staff leads to lower quality of services. Came here for lunch as I took my parents to Echo point. We were lunch to get a table right by the window overlooking the garden. There were only 2-3 floor staff with over 20 tables or so. It was lunch time and it was packed. Due to everyone coming in around the same time, staff experienced too many request, as well as sometimes slower to respond to all the tasks they have to manage. Mine you the staff were PLEASANT and FRIENDLY. I emphasize with their overwhelming tasks as I look around them serving everyone. This is by no fault of waiters and waitress as they are doing their best. Unfortunately management hasn't got enough staff, system of how the restaurant can operate well with the restaurant at full capacity. I will say I did have a pleasant experience of the interior and helpful staff. Food for vegan can improve. Portion is generous and that's great. I also didn't mind paying for a premium for atmosphere, location, as long as I'm full and service is good and food is above average. I had the vegan risotto. Well it isn't quite risotto as it looked and tasted more like rice with seasoning, and spinach and mushroom. It didn't have much taste, it did satisfy the requirements of being gluten free and vegan I think. They did also have soup of the day that was vegan. I would say roasted vegetables like squash or pumpkin, with or Chickpeas or lentil dish with quinoa and rice would be great. I would still come back, I think there are room for improvement.
