Lime and Co Cantina

Fresh and tasty food. Picked up take away to eat on the beach while passing through on the way to Melbourne. Had the chicken and avo bowl and beef, prawn, pork and fried chicken tacos. Good sized serves prepared quickly. Will definetly be back when in the area. Gluten and dairy free and vegan options available. All clearly marked on the board but not in the menus.

What a wonderful first time in-store experience! Have been at my sons school twice and enjoyed ,so we went for a drive this evening to try out the takeaway! All made easy by the way Ordered our burrito and pork belly bowl via webpage for pickup with a note “can we please pick up at 7:10pm(ordered at 6:20ish) Well they do read the dockets arrived at 7:10 and they were putting together our meals . Was created with friendly staff and while so busy I asked for a chai and hot chocolate if it was ok (we were cold from beach walk!) they didn’t mind at all and made to feel very welcome 🤗 The lovely lady made our chai and hot chocolate on point with stores that specialise just in coffee, was intact the best we have had locally away from our cafe of course 😂🙏 We were very happy with those but now I will start in the food! It isn’t just food! It’s a flavour bomb of quality ingredients, fresh and you can tell the food is prepared with knowledge and of good quality, I didn’t think so much would fit in a bowl and our sons burrito was the best he’s had , I’m sure he’s a food editor in the making ! Thanks Lime and Co for a truly humble experience in store just like the fabulous service we have had via the van. The Decor is done well by someone that definitely knows what goes with what to give that authentic yet modern twist on a Mexican eatery. The effort that has been put into the food, menu and store is obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their store. Also to note the family photo instore was also welcoming , it not only was a quirky touch it made you see the family behind the business and in a way makes you feel particularly welcome! I’m also celiac and while stores can only state GF if not celiac Australia approved let me reassure you I didn’t get sick from gluten and I’m still ok so a big thumbs up to the team! There was a great variety and while I did originally think how much will I get as i don’t like to pay for something and get nothing , we’ll I struggled to finish and so did my “food critic” son! Thanks Lime and Co ! We loved it so much we had to give a review 😊😊 The gentleman working was prompt and efficient, yet so was the lady working while they weren’t the owners they had as much passion as an owner a credit to them for sure and for the owners to know that the staff represented the store 5/5 from the food to service ✌️✌️ Oh and note , while a lot of sites charge you a premium to order online Lime and Co menu in-store was the same online with prices ✌️
