Run! It was awful! I have a gluten allergy so I called ahead and was assured they could accommodate me.
What they mean is you can order food with no sauce or spice. First, she brought me a bowl of tepid water with white rice and chunks of chicken in it and called it soup. I sent that back. I ordered the Thai curry refried rice. It has a few vegetables, beef and egg in white rice with dry curry seasoning. I took it home and refried it with more eggs, veggies, chicken and both gluten free Tamari and Szechuan sauces.
Tomorrow, I’ll rinse off the nasty sledge off my daughter’s beef broccoli and season it with gluten free teriyaki sauce. She didn’t feel well after eating 1/2 her egg drop soup that you could stand a spoon up in it was so thick and the egg roll with very sweet duck sauce.
But my son couldn’t eat his food at all! He ordered crispy duck and it looked like a plate of slop for farm animals. She didn’t take it off the bill, so we paid and left.
I’m taking my son to PF Chang’s before he leaves for Europe for Christmas so we don’t leave this as our Chinese-Jewish-Christmas tradition for this year.
