Good hotel with neat rooms (we had a comfort room). We stayed on a half board basis. The breakfast is good and you can indicate exactly what you want so that there is less waste. Dinner is also fine. Starter, main course and dessert were tasty every day and good for the price you paid. We stayed with four people, 3 of whom had to eat gluten-free. This went completely well in terms of cross-contamination. Gluten-free rolls and gluten-free cornflakes in the morning. It was also arranged that gluten-free schnitsel or corden blue could be made gluten-free. There is also plenty to do in the area: Europapark, Freiburg, Germany's oldest cable car, hiking and there are several summer gossip courses in the area that are really affordable!

I had the great pleasure of staying at Berggasthof Linde for six days and it was without a doubt the best holiday I have ever had. As someone who is both gluten and lactose intolerant, I was initially skeptical about whether (both) of my intolerances could be accommodated, since one is already difficult enough. I had mentioned my gluten intolerance in advance and each dish was specially prepared for me. To my surprise, they even took into account my casually mentioned lactose intolerance - I hadn't expected that at all and was really pleasantly surprised. The care and commitment of the staff was outstanding. Every bite was a delight, and the menus were creative and delicious. We had booked half board and the 3-course menu in the evening was delicious and varied, and the 4-course menu at the end of our stay even exceeded everything! The beds were also very comfortable, although the blankets were a bit hot and the pillows were a bit "crude". Nevertheless, I was able to sleep well and recover. Aside from the great food, the location of the inn is breathtaking. There are numerous opportunities for outdoor activities (European Park, looking at waterfalls, Kandel rocks, etc.) and beautiful hiking trails nearby. The surrounding area offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The terrace also offers a great view (there was also good WiFi) and is ideal for nature lovers who like to watch birds or read a book with the birds chirping. A sweet senior cat that sweetens the day is also part of the charm of the inn. The breakfast was also very well organized. To waste less food, order your rolls, yoghurt and other breakfast items in advance - a really great idea! (They also brought out lactose-free milk/yoghurt and gluten-free rolls and muesli for me. I was eternally grateful!) The Berggasthof Linde exceeded my expectations in every respect. The combination of excellent service, delicious food tailored to my needs, and the beautiful location made my stay unforgettable. I can highly recommend this inn to everyone and we will definitely come back. A big thank you to the entire team!
