We made a special trip to this place for a Sunday roast after a recommendation from a fellow gluten freer. It did not disappoint. Myself and my friend had the exact same dishes, and were barely able to distinguish which was which apart from the lovely allergy stick in mine.
We opted for the crab starter which came in lovely toasted bread with fresh crisp apple and radish ribbons on top. Then both opted for the lamb roast for our mains. I was especially amazed at the gluten free Yorkshire pudding which was a homemade monstrosity as opposed to a piddly freezer one so I was over the moon! Gluten free gravy to boot. It was all absolutely delicious.
It was a lovely day so we sat in the front garden area which was lovely. The only downside on the atmosphere was that there were a number of large groups inside who were very noisy and could be heard over the table next to us which was not ideal but didn’t ruin our experience.
The staff were lovely. Helpful. Engaging. Would highly recommend.
