Nice ambience, lovely staff who were more than happy to point out vegan options. Onion bhaji a bit raw and sticky in the middle. Pumpkin macadamia curry leaf dish was truly so so delicious I will think about her for days. Goan curry with beetroot rhubarb koftas and lemon rice aggressively average for $38 - couldn’t taste the lemon and the sauce wasn’t the best I’ve had. Most disappointing part of the evening was the “naan”. I asked if either of the sourdough naans could be veganised without butter and was assured the original one could. Paid $12 for what I’m pretty sure was a single pale shop-bought gluten-free pitta. If the staff had explained the vegan option was actually a gluten-free replacement dish instead of the thick naan, I would never have ordered it. So disappointing but there are definitely some fabulous flavours to be had here if you're steered in the right direction!
