Mixed feelings. Food was tasty and atmosphere was lovely.
It was quite expensive so we only opted for mains as the entrees seemed particularly expensive but not sure maybe they are designed to be shared?
The service was where we weren't so happy. Staff were friendly but my husband got given chicken Pide instead of beef (which he decided he would just happily eat so was not mentioned, no worries) , my mother's meal was not brought out with the rest of the meal, I flagged with the wait staff who said they would check on it. Quite a while later we were told it will be out in a minute, she was then given the wrong dish which we flagged, a long time later her correct meal was brought out.
I suppose in terms of being constructive I would have expected a bit more communication about the delay at the time and possibly a bit more of an apology about it all. I have worked in multiple hospo jobs and understand the pressures but if there was more communication early in the piece the staff could have clarified which meal needed to be brought out which would have reduced the delay and skipped an additional mistake.
There was also a bit of inconsistency about what could be made gf and what couldn't based on wait staff vs the menu so if coeliac would check specifics. Exactly
Based on food alone I would go again but I'm not sure if any of my family would come with me.
