An excellent little proper pub with great real ales and a friendly welcome. Visiting from The Endeavour Chelmsford in Essex I popped in to say hi, had a lovely gluten free ale called Pintail from Moon Gazer which was in very good form. Had a chat with the landlady of 25 years and her great bar staff.
They do a lot of charity fund raising and it's a community focussed hub of a pub. A Camra winner and quite rightly so!!
