Lizzy's Homemade Ice Cream

It was my first time at Lizzy's tonight and I will definitely be back! Along with the ice cream being delicious, I would like to write how impressed I was with that staff member who made our ice cream! I am someone with Celiac, so I cannot eat gluten. I was excited to see there were gluten free cones. When I asked for a gluten free cone, the young man making our sundaes was quick to ask me "is this a gluten allergy or preference? I would like to make sure so I can wash my hands change gloves, make sure you can have the ice cream and use a clean scoop." I was shocked! Anyone with a food allergy, intolerance or celiac will understand how stressful it is to eat out, unsure if serious precautions are taken to avoid cross - contamination, and without me even asking, he told me exactly what steps he was going to take to avoid gluten.
