My Grandma and I went there Yesterday before heading to a play in town. I gave ourselves an hour and a half to sit down, eat and walk to the theater. Walking in, it was busy knowing it was a Friday Night, but it held an upbeat contagious atmosphere. They sat us quickly up the stairs in a little hide away (which I enjoyed). We were the first to be seated there for the night. The waiter tended to us quickly but had a little difficulty adapting to my off ingredient menu request. However they made my grandmas night after not only offering a gluten free bun, but having gluten free french fries (which are hard to find due to cross contamination). After our order, it took about 30-40 minutes to get our food which is fine, but our waiter wasn't very attentive. We asked for a straw once we got our drinks and it took him 15 minutes to return to us with one. On another occasion, my grandma asked for mustard and he never brought it to us then disappeared from the floor all together. with us being on a time restraint, I had to walk down and ask the bar to see if we could pay and get a receipt. All of the staff were really nice and helpful. the food was good, both in portion and decent in price. I expected a little bit more with the tacos, but overall they were fulfilling.
I have worked as a server and know the challenges, so regardless I tipped what was fair, but next time he should prioritize his tables a little more.
