Lobster Burger Bar

Once again LBB did not disappoint. One of the main reasons that I love this place is JJ, the Manager. He introduces himself to each guest and asks each guest their name. He visited our table throughout our time there, to see how things were and just to chat. He excels at customer service and in this day and age, it is lacking at many establishments. The food was amazing. We had classic lobster rolls (regular and gluten free) and lobster risotto. I highly recommend this for pre-show dinner, actually for any occasion.

The atmosphere and service was great! Unfortunately we ordered what I hope is the worst thing on the menu - the lobster burger. We both had friends share mixed reviews on the burger, my partner has said it wasn’t tasty. But of course we both still wanted to try, it just sounds too good! We should have listened. There is zero flavour in these burgers, even the melted cheese had no flavour. Didn’t even taste like lobster. Im not sure what I expected but it wasn’t that. Im still rating a 3 because friends really enjoyed their other foods and the sweet potato fries and breaded shrimp appetizer was great and the deserts were really tasty. Love that they have gluten friendly options as well. We will be back to try other items on the menu we heard were great. Please set your expectations though if you get the lobster burger, we really aren’t sure how this is a regular menu item. Will amend review if the other food is great when we go back to try something new as it clearly has some positive reviews!
