Local Joe’s Albertville

When my mom and I went there they had a Santa for the kids. This post isn't about Santa, this is about the delicious food we had there. My mom has a pork sensitivity and she's gluten intolerant, the manager educated herself on gluten intolerance because of other customers. Out of every barbecue restaurant in Alabama, which there seems to be one on every corner, I highly recommend this one I'll happily be a return customer.

We went here in search of gluten free food for me. I usually can find food at barbeque places, but I have to ask questions. Their manager was very knowledgeable. She informed me that all their meats were gluten free, except for the breaded foods and the ribs(blackening seasoning). She did say they couldn't guarantee accidental cross contamination wouldn't happen, but that is pretty much everywhere I go. They had a good selection of meats to choose from. I can't eat pork, but they also had chicken and turkey. There was also a good selection of sides. The food was well prepared and very good. I had the smoked turkey, potato salad and vinegar slaw, my favorite kind. My daughter had chicken tenders, french fries and vinegar slaw. Service was fast and attentive. Highly recommend!
