I have been to Local on North numerous times with no issues. Being newly DX’d with Celiac I double checked with restaurant about Mother’s Day. I spoke to the owner/wife and was told they would make me a GF meal as long as my family would eat the buffet. Upon arriving on Sunday my server had no knowledge that a meal would be made for me. The chef stated he had no time to make me a GF meal. I sat watched my family eat as I waited thinking well there goes my Mother’s Day! The plate that was brought down to me looked like it came from the buffet. It definitely was not cooked separately. I ended up with a Caesar Salad for my special Day. The chef was not too concerned about me being Celiac. Lesson learned- never again.
