Locals Sushi & Sports Pub - Mt Pleasant

Locals in Mt. pleasant is the best location of all of them in my opinion. Although they are usually very busy, especially on the half sushi rolls day, they have a lot of indoor and offer outdoor seating. I also like that they have live music playing on Monday nights. We were able to snag a couple seats in the back and avoid the wait. They don’t take reservations so you want to get there at a decent time on Mondays. My husband is gluten-free and he was able to order off of their gluten-free menu, which was really nice. The sushi here is pretty good quality, and we love to come here on Monday nights. We inhaled our sushi rolls so I forgot to take any photos 😆 but I love the spicy salmon, mt. Pleasant roll and eel roll.

great sushi, however, i’m gluten free and all of their items on the menu labeled gluten free have soy sauce based sauces - which is not gluten free. told the waiter and he shrugged and was obviously annoyed with my questions and had no desire to ask the kitchen for me
