Lovely meal and Emily was great really felt so welcome and looked after. Food was good and great choice even for gluten free me. Brill being dog friendly with water and treats available for them

We had not booked and realised quickly that we should have, and will in future. Thankfully there was a spare table and and after a short wait we were seated with a menu. I am coeliac and asked a staff member about gluten free breakfast options. Although there was not a non-gluten containing breakfast menu the staff member was able to state what I could and could not have. When asked a question that she did not know the answer to she was more than happy to go and check with the kitchen staff. Then when the food arrived there was an allergy marker to ensure all staff were aware. This filled me with confidence where other restaurants have not understood the allergens related to Coeliac and I have been “glutened” on a number of occasions (where I am seriously ill) which has resulted in me rarely eating out. The presentation of the food was lovely and when I asked for more butter (gluten free bread can be very dry and requires more butter than normal) she went straight away and brought me some back and advised to just ask if we needed anything else. Overall we were made to feel welcome and we couldn’t have asked for a better service, which was fantastic considering how busy the restaurant was. Thank you to all the staff.
