Loft Byron Bay

Atmosphere, decor, drinks and service were good but not being able to switch out/ request any changes to items on the menu is disappointing. Eg, "can we swap the meat on the chacuterie board for additional cheese, to cater for vegetarians?" Was met with a "no.. we can only swap the bread for gluten free bread" bizarre.

We had the most amazing experience at the Loft celebrating our wedding reception dinner. To start, the food was truly delicious. Our guests absolutely loved the food and the high quality menu items. As a vegan, I also had a great selection. It’s a sign of an awesome chef when they can make simple vegetables taste so delicious. The stand out item for me was the celeriac steak - so original and I will definitely be ordering this again. Our gluten free guest was also generously catered for. The private dining room was perfect with a lovely view of the ocean and a great intimate setting, exactly what we were looking for. The service from the staff was 10/10 with Dan our waiter being absolutely awesome, and made us and our guests feel welcome and comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend this wonderful venue for anyone looking for great service and food and a venue for a cosy intimate party or gathering. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Byron!
