Lola Cocina Spanish Restaurant Crows Nest

I visited the restaurant with my siblings on a family visit to NSW. I require gluten free options for coeliac disease and it looked like there were a few on the menu. I ordered the lamb kebabs which were delicious, and we also shared the chicken and chorizo paella which was hot and great. They had a wide range of wines and aperitif too. Staff were able to note that I was coeliac when I ordered. I had no reaction to the food so I believe this spot is safe for people on a gluten free diet.

We came here as a large school group of 34 on a weekday for lunch, and it was a huge success! Rita and the team at Lola Cocina were wonderful hosts, setting up a beautiful and atmospheric, separate space for us in the restaurant upstairs, and communicating efficiently with me in the weeks before to create a wonderful menu which allowed everyone to try and share seven different tapas dishes. We had many different dietary requirements in our group and Lola Cocina were incredibly helpful and flexible. Whether the students were gluten or dairy free, had a nut or egg allergy, or were vegetarian, all were offered alternative plates as needed and all enjoyed a very positive experience of tapas! Rita and Lola Cocina, thank you for your generous hospitality, fabulous Spanish food and an overall brilliant day. Nos vemos pronto!- we will be back!
